Overview

A warm, very welcoming family is seeking an experienced, long-term Nanny / Housekeeper to join their household.

 

This is a unique opportunity for a candidate who is naturally helpful, takes initiative, and enjoys being an active, engaged presence in the home. The family is looking for someone who seamlessly blends excellent childcare with household support. Their ideal candidate is warm, energetic, and intuitive, someone who naturally steps in where needed and takes pride in keeping a home running smoothly. The family lives in a beautiful waterfront home and values someone who will become a trusted, long-term presence in their lives.

 

Schedule 

  • 8am-6pm
  • Sunday - Thursday (Friday & Saturday off)

Responsibilities

Childcare:

 

• Provide attentive, nurturing care for three children ages 6, 5, and 2.
• Engage children in creative, intellectually appropriate activities
• Maintain structure and routine while fostering a positive, engaging environment
• Travel with the family and provide consistent support while abroad
 

Household Support:

 

• Housekeeping – cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of the home
• Laundry care including ironing and wardrobe management
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Take initiative with household needs and anticipate tasks
 

Household Oversight:

 

• Act as a point person within the home and help oversee additional staff when needed
• Ensure the home runs smoothly in the absence of principals
 
 

Qualifications

 

• Warm, kind, and easygoing personality
• Not overbearing; able to read the room and respect family dynamics
• Seeking a long-term role with a family
 

Requirements

• Candidates must be comfortable with a hands-on position balancing childcare and housekeeping

• 5+ years of experience in a similar Nanny / Housekeeper role
• Strong English communication skills (required)
• Professional cleaner with excellent organizational skills
• Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with frequent travel

Salary and Benefits

Salary

  • $130-$150k
