Overview

A warm, welcoming family in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced and proactive Mother’s Helper/Nanny to partner closely with a hands-on mom in caring for their two young children - a 3-year-old daughter and a 2-month-old son. This is a collaborative, team-oriented role for someone who thrives working alongside a parent and enjoys contributing to both childcare and the overall flow of the home.

The ideal candidate is flexible, intuitive, and brings a true “no task too small” mindset. The family is looking for someone who naturally steps in where needed and takes pride in supporting a well-run household.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (50 hours/week)

Open to travel, including extended summer travel (e.g., one month in San Diego in July)

Responsibilities

Partnering with mom to care for both children, balancing the needs of an infant and toddler
Assisting with daily routines, developmental play, and engagement
Tag-teaming activities and outings with the 3-year-old
Children’s laundry and maintaining tidy, organized play and living areas
Family laundry, dishes, and light household upkeep (no deep cleaning required; housekeeper employed)
Preparing healthy, balanced meals for children
General household support including wiping counters, vacuuming, and maintaining overall order
Proactively assisting with whatever is needed to ensure the home runs smoothly

Qualifications

Prior experience in a similar Mother’s Helper or Nanny role
Confident multitasker who can balance the needs of more than one child
Proactive, positive, and solutions-oriented with a strong work ethic
Comfortable working closely with a hands-on parent and building a friendly, respectful relationship
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate needs
Alignment with a clean, healthy lifestyle (nutritious meals, minimal sugar)
