A loving family in Atherton, CA (Bay Area) is looking for a part-time temporary nanny for the month of June with possible extension into July. The family has 2 pre-school aged children. The ideal schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for 8 hours per day. Some weeks will be fewer hours but 24 hours per week will be guaranteed. Start time is nanny's preference and can be as early as 7am or as late as 9am. 

• Full childcare of both children including nap times, meal time, and play time. Both children are potty trained. 
• Both children will be home from school during this time so coming up with play based learning activities would be ideal
• There will be no cooking as the family has a chef and the mother also enjoys cooking 
• Child related tidying such as cleaning up the play areas and eating areas, taking out diaper/kid trash, wiping down the highchairs, organizing toys and children's clothing, and restocking children's items (diapers, wipes, etc.). The family prefers a "clean as you go" approach that includes the children helping as well. 
• Child laundry 1-2 times per week
• Occasional driving using the family car 

• Warm and nurturing personality 
• Team player happy to work with stay at home mother, additional nanny, and other household staff
• Ideally open to travel later in the summer if it is a good fit 

• Driver's license and clean driving record (family car will be used for transporting the children). Must be an experienced driver and confident driving children in the area
• Able to be sole charge with both children and comfortable doing routines alone if needed 
• Dog friendly and comfortable with a very sweet but large dog 
• Physically able to go up and down stairs in the house carrying the children if needed  
• Extensive experience with children ages 3-7 years old. Preschool teaching background is a bonus
• Trustline Certified, or willing to certify
• CPR and First Aid Certified, or willing to certify
• Legal to work in the US
• Currently local to the Bay Area (not open to relocation candidates)

• $40-46 per hour; family will go higher for someone with teaching experience
