A warm, easygoing family is seeking a loving, engaging, and confident Part-Time Nanny/Family Assistant to support their two children—a 7-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy. The role is primarily focused on after-school care, with an emphasis on keeping their daughter engaged, productive, and on track with homework and routines. The ideal candidate is playful and kind, yet able to provide gentle structure and guidance when needed.

Start Date: June 1st

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–7:00pm
Flexibility to stay later as needed
Guaranteed 20 hours per week

• After-school care and engagement for both children
• Supporting homework completion and encouraging productive routines
• Assisting with and/or coordinating after-school activities (e.g., sewing class/tutoring)
• Preparing healthy snacks and beginning dinner for the family
• Light tidying and maintaining organization of children’s areas
• Occasional daycare pickup for the 3-year-old
• Supervising children during swimming and water activities

• Spanish-speaking is a plus (not required)
• Naturally warm, playful, and engaging personality
• Able to provide structure and keep children on track in a positive, supportive way
• Proactive, organized, and comfortable assisting with light household support

• Prior childcare experience with similar age groups
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• Must have a reliable personal vehicle
• Confident swimmer with ability to supervise children in water
• Comfortable managing after-school routines and guiding homework

$40/hourly depending on experience
