A West Coast/East Coast/Europe-based family with a toddler are seeking a superlative nanny/governess to join their ROTA nanny team. The ideal candidate is warm and nurturing, yet structured and developmentally minded. This role does require overseeing private education for the child for a few years until the child is ready to go to school, so a background in education and/or an education degree is desired for this role. The schedule is 2 weeks on/2 weeks off. The start is now. They desire a nanny/teacher who has experience with either teaching children in schools or in homeschool settings. They prefer a candidate with years of experience, ideally 10+. They are wanting to teach the child Spanish so Spanish-speaking is a requirement as well.

• All standard care for the child (dressing, grooming, meal/snack prep, laundry for the child, etc.) The family does have a Chef and Housekeeper but must have a pitch-in mentality for child-related tasks as needs arise
• Taking the child to age-appropriate classes and outings (family will provide vehicle for work purposes); music and activity classes as well as educational and extracurricular activities will be a part of the day and any chance the role has to positively influence the child's development is welcome and expected
• Reading to the child, playing/engaging with the child, bonus if the candidate can teach the child an instrument or play music for the child
• They are looking for a dedicated, experienced, well-rounded, dynamic Mary Poppins nanny/governess to take ownership of all things for the child when working, and yet also know when to step in and step out as the parents play active roles as well but lead busy executive lives

• The ideal candidate for this role is a nanny who has 10+ years of experience, formal educational training, will assume responsibility, be nimble, be receptive to feedback with how family desires things to be done while at the same time taking initiative that is gleaned from the candidate's years of experience

• The candidate to hire must be a licensed driver with a clean driving record
• There is 1 dog in the home so must be comfortable around dogs
• Must have 10+ years' of nanny experience
• Must have experience in teaching or homeschooling
• Must speak Spanish fluently (to be able to teach the child Spanish)
