A warm Georgetown family is seeking an experienced, dependable full time Nanny for their 2 young boys (soon to be 4 and 2). This is a long term role for someone who will become a consistent, trusted presence in the boys' lives and grow with the family. Daily care includes playgroup, preschool pickup, naptime, play dates and light household help.

The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6:30pm, with the option for additional hours. The family also needs flexibility for occasional evenings, and prefers candidates with availability on some weekends, occasional overnights, and potentially travel.

The family would also be open to someone with availability 12:00pm to 7:00pm, 5 days a week.

• Provide attentive, engaging, and consistent care for 2 active young boys
• Handle preschool pickup and stay with the younger son throughout playgroup, walking to and from both
• Manage nap time and the afternoon routine, including snacks, play, and outings
• Support the boys' development, routines, and daily structure as they grow
• Assist with children's laundry, light family meal preparation, tidying, and general household organization
• Work alongside the family's existing housekeeping help, who will continue to handle deeper cleaning
• Travel with the family domestically and internationally when needed, including pack and unpack and travel day care
• Remain flexible for occasional evenings, weekends, and overnights

• Minimum 5 years of professional nanny experience in a private home
• Calm, warm, patient, and dependable personality
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach to working with parents
• Comfortable managing light household tasks alongside childcare
• Open to a nanny and household manager arrangement
• Long term employment history preferred

• Full legal eligibility to work in the United States
• Strong verifiable references from comparable private household roles
• CPR certified
• Flexible for occasional evenings, weekends, overnights, and travel
• Valid passport preferred
• Swimming skills are a plus
• Valid Driver’s License 

• $40 to $45 per hour based on experience
