Overview

A wonderful UHNW VIP family is seeking an experienced nanny to care for their newborn twins due May/June. The babies will primarily be cared for by the maternity nurse for the first six months, but the nanny will be a permanent placement and oversee the maternity nurse and other nurses and caregivers.

 

The schedule is to be determined, but will be a 12-hour day and a 6-day week.

 

This is a fully staffed household, and the nanny's responsibilities will be solely for the children and their areas.

Responsibilities

  • All duties related to the care of the children
  • Managing developmentally appropriate sleep and feeding schedules 
  • Keeping on top of baby supplies, and making necessary purchases
  • Knowledgeable about infant and childhood development- aware of stages and proactive about keeping the parents informed 
  • Communicating with parents on all aspects of the care of the children
  • Creating an engaging environment and providing developmentally appropriate enrichment daily
  • Being responsible for all equipment related to the care of the children, including the cleaning and maintenance of items such as sterilizers, buggies, car seats, etc.
  • Travel with the family when required
  • Packing for travel
  • Administering medicines and taking the children to the doctor if necessary, with the parents consent and keeping them updated at all times

Requirements

  • Experience working in UHNW/VIP households
  • Experience with multiple children
  • Ability/willingness to travel domestically and internationally multiple times per year for extended periods
  • Strong leadership and communication skills 
  • Previous travel experience with families 

Salary and Benefits

  • $7,000 per month
  • Accommodation within the family's residence, private bedroom and bathroom
