Overview

A loving and present family is seeking a live-in Spanish speaking educator/nanny for their four-year-old son. This is a full-time travel role- the family is based out of Wyoming and travel extensively, so the nanny must be fully available to travel both domestically and internationally for extended periods. The ideal person for this role will have extensive experience working with young children in a nanny/educator capacity, and will have knowledge and experience in Montessori, Reggio Emilia, unschooling, or experiential education. The schedule for this role will be Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week- the specific hours may vary from week to week so flexibility is essential in this role. There will be a private bedroom/bathroom provided in all locations. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide sole-care leadership grounded in warmth, playfulness, and emotional steadiness
  • Design child-led, experiential learning opportunities based on the child’s evolving interests
  • Plan and execute local outings, nature exploration, cultural experiences, classes, playgroups, and community activities in each location
  • Support language development through daily Spanish exposure
  • Handle day-to-day logistics with initiative (bags, transitions, prep, planning)

  • Collaborate closely with hands-on parents while independently owning the role

Qualifications

  • Emotionally regulated and resilient- able to maintain stability during busy and travel-heavy weeks
  • Energized by movement, novelty, and change
  • Proactive, organized, and able to make decisions on the fly
  • Warm and joyful with a great sense of humor
  • Able to balance playfulness with structure and routine

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with young children (ages 3–6), ideally in Montessori, Reggio Emilia, unschooling, or experiential education
  • US work authorization
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed 
  • Spanish fluency 
  • Driver's license
  • Conscious and limited use of technology

Salary and Benefits

  • $120-150k+ DOE
  • Medical and dental insurance
  • 1-2 months off per year
