Overview

A warm, busy, and travel-heavy family based in Incline Village, Nevada (minutes from Lake Tahoe) are seeking 2 highly experienced ROTA Family Assistants to support their three young children and dynamic household. The family has two active boys (almost 3 and almost 5), a 2-month-old daughter currently supported by a live-in NCS through the end of the summer, and a 15-year-old daughter who requires minimal oversight. The family is looking to hire one long-term ROTA Family Assistant immediately, as well as a second TEMP ROTA Family Assistant beginning ASAP and working until mid to late August, with the potential for the temporary role to become permanent. For the temp role, all responsibilities are the same minus the school year responsibilities.

This is a fast-paced, high-functioning household with multiple residences, frequent domestic and international travel, and many moving pieces day-to-day. The ideal candidate is calm, highly professional, proactive, emotionally intelligent, organized, and confident managing both childcare and family assistant responsibilities in a collaborative environment. The family values professionalism, strong communication, flexibility, and candidates who genuinely enjoy supporting children’s development while helping busy households run smoothly.

The parents describe their household as warm, communicative, and structured while still fun-loving and child-centered. They prioritize kindness, respect, emotional intelligence, outdoor play, creativity, and low screen time. The ideal nanny will naturally reinforce boundaries, routines, and structure while remaining nurturing and engaging with the children.

The family is open to full relocation or fly-in/fly-out candidates at the nanny’s own expense. Potential living accommodations may be available during off-weeks, though details are still being finalized.

Start Date: ASAP for both roles. End date for temp role is middle to end of August

Typical On-Shift Hours: 24/7 availability, children are sleeping through the night but overnight care may be required
