A busy family of 6 (principals and four school-aged children) seeks a live-out chef to work between their homes in Coral Gables and Palm Beach.  The schedule will be Monday through Friday, from approximately 11am-8pm each day.

The family enjoy a variety of food and would appreciate fresh, nutritious, and locally sourced ingredients.  Duties will include:

• Being the point person for all food related stocking, purchasing, and planning for the residences, working closely with the property manager/PA
• Regular menu-planning with the principals and HM
• Preparing European/Mediterranean/California Fresh style meals
• Doing the breakdown and clean-up after meals, with help from housekeepers
• Preparing lunch and dinner - the family love healthy, from-scratch meals prepared to a refined standard
• Cooking for guests if required and, occasionally, for up to 20 or so people

• A team-player mentality is essential.  The family are only interested in candidates who demonstrate a 'pitch-in' attitude and who enjoy a busy family dynamic
• Confident and safe driver
• Flexible approach and adaptable nature - there will likely be last minute changes (extra people turning up, or the whole family heading out).  Additionally, lunch is often served at different times depending on who is around, while dinner tends to be taken together.
• Extremely organised and calm, able to keep a level-head in a fast-moving household!
• Attention to detail and great at multi-tasking
• Extensive experience in private households, able to work to high standards and to prepare delicious meals that will appeal to the whole family
• Comfortable with serving refined, tasty, beautifully presented meals.  The family are not interested in heavy, fried or huge servings!
• Being careful and considered re. portion sizes, with no over-catering!

• $130,000+ pa gross, DOE - the rate will reflect the experience and skill-set of the hired candidate
