A very kind but busy family who recently moved back to New York City is seeking a fantastic full-time nanny. The role is located on the Upper East Side during the school year and in the Hamptons during the summer. The role is Monday through Friday and can be 7 am to 7 pm or 11 am to 8 pm, depending on the number of hours per week the candidate is looking to work. The position is 40-60 hours and open to the right person. When applying, please indicate the number of hours per week you want. 

The main responsibilities for the role will be to work hand in hand with the mom to assist with 3 school-aged children

• Helping mom get breakfast ready and kids out the door
• Childcare, such as transporting a child to and from school or an after-school activity
• Spending summers in the Hamptons
• Engage the children with age-appropriate play and educational activities
• Maintain a balance between keeping the routine while also proactively getting out on walks and local adventures
• Assist with evening routine, dinners, and getting children ready for bed
• Household family assistant responsibilities
• Maintain tidiness of home (no deep cleaning required)
• Organizing the house
• Preparing family dinners
• Organization of household areas, pantries, closets, and storage
• Maintain inventories and household stock items

    •    One child has a terrible allergy to cats, so the candidate can not live with a cat

    •    Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within a private residence

    •    Professionalism, discretion, and trustworthiness

    •    Comfort working around a SAHM

    •    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    •    Must be willing to cook

    •    Must be OK to go to the Hampton's 

    •    The ability to swim is a major plus

• The family is offering $40-$45 per hour DOE and PTO
• Health care stipend
