A lovely family in Brookline, MA is seeking a live-out nanny to start ASAP for their two children, ages 4.5-years-old and 1.5-years-old. The family hopes to welcome an additional child in the future! The schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5pm. If the candidate would like more hours, the family is open to 8am start. The older child is in school 5 mornings per week currently and in the fall both children will attend school (5 days per week for the older one, 3 mornings per week for the younger one). The family values warmth and consistency with respectful boundaries. Their boys are active and affectionate and look forward to welcoming a nanny into the home!  

• Full childcare of two active and sweet children including managing routines, transportation, and play/activities 
• Enrichment in and outside the home, monitoring and encouragement of milestones, and partnering with mom and dad to collaboratively ensure the best care for the children. Mom works from home 3 days per week which the children are used to and understand nanny is in charge during the day. 
• Light housekeeping related to the children - this consists of children's laundry (including cloth diapering for the younger child), child meal preparation, and keeping children's spaces and belongings tidy and clean (organizing diaper deliveries, switching out clothes, eg.).

• Patient, confident, and warm nature. 
• Proactive and energetic to get the children out of the house for adventures. The family would appreciate a nanny who researches the newest classes and activities and encourages the children to be social. 
• Driver's license would be ideal (nanny car provided) but not required 
• Comfortable keeping a Kosher kitchen; family will provide training on this as long as nanny is open to learning 

• Looking for longevity in a role. They hope to find a nanny who wants to join their family long-term and grow with them.
• Willing to get annual Flu shot and had at least one Covid vaccine previously 
• No cat allergies as the family has two cats 
• Legal to work in the US

$33-35 per hour

10 days PTO,  5 paid sick days, paid federal holidays, health stipend
