Seeking a fantastic, warm and professional live-out, temporary nanny for an 8month-old girl based in South Kensington.  Expect a Monday through Friday schedule, from 10am-7pm daily, however Mum would appreciate a nanny who is willing to travel, and who can also offer occasional weekends/overnights when needed.  The successful candidate will join the family on or around 18th January, 2026, and the role is likely to last until at least 1st April.

Please note that this will (mostly) be a shared care role.  Candidates must therefore be happy to tag-team with Mum, but should also be comfortable being sole charge when required.  

• All usual nursery duties relating to the infant, including nappy changing, keeping her areas clean, tidy and organised, laundry and ironing, washing bottles etc
• Researching, suggesting and finding fun local activities and outings in the area
• Developing a supportive social group for baby in the local area
• Engaging in age-appropriate developmental and educational play, with experience supporting motor-skills development and early speech in babies aged 8–12 months
• Ensuring she is hitting developmental milestones, and really engaging with her general health and well-being (physical, mental and emotional)
• General help around the home - emptying the dishwasher, tidying up, wiping down kitchen sides etc
• Occasional errands
• Preparing fresh, healthy meals 

This is a position for a nanny with a pitch-in mindset, and who is happy to share care with Mum on a regular basis.  Other desired attributes include:

• At least 5 years of previous experience with infants 
• Sterling references
• Gentle, warm and nurturing personality, with a real love for children and nannying in general
• Flexible and easy-going attitude, with a friendly, positive outlook
• Adaptable and able to work in a relatively casual environment while also able to maintain professional boundaries 
• Excellent communication skills
• Physically fit and strong, able to carry and manoeuvre a heavy baby, pram, car seats etc
• Willingness to travel, which will likely involve extra hours and some weekend help
• Excellent English, and Russian would be helpful but isn't necessary
