Overview

A wonderful, busy family of four on the Upper West Side is seeking a part-time housekeeper to support them. The schedule will ideally be 2 days per week. One day on a Friday for 6 hours and another day during the week for 6 hours. They are flexible on which day is the additional day. Total of 12 hours a week. This home is a 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom apartment. 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

  • Maintain  cleanliness and organization throughout the home
  • All aspects of general cleaning (Family has an outside source for once-a-week deep cleans)
  • Handle laundry; folding and putting away
  • Ensure all floors and surfaces are always kept spotless
  • Maintain a tidy, well-presented kitchen and bathrooms at all times
  • Prepping meals for the children 
  •  

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in private, high-level households
  • Knowledge of fabrics. Must be able to read clothing labels
  • Child-friendly and family-oriented demeanor 
  • Legal to work in the U.S.

Salary and Benefits

  • Family is offering $35/hr DOE 
  • 2-3 weeks paid time off at the family's choice
