A loving, busy family in Atherton, CA, is seeking a part-time nanny for their two children, a 5-year-old boy and a 16-month-old girl. The older child is in school from 8am to 5:30pm. The schedule will be flexible based on the family’s needs; however, the general schedule will be Monday through Friday from 2pm to 8pm. The ideal candidate will be seeking a long-term position and be able to provide superlative care for two children. Local candidates only, please. Looking to hire immediately.

• Always ensuring the safety and well-being of the children
• All aspects of full-charge care, including meal plan/prep, feeding, diapering, bathing, and potty training
• Creatively incorporate veggies and healthy foods into children’s meals
• Engage the children in age-appropriate developmental and educational play
• Track developmental milestones 
• Keep a nanny log to ensure parents are informed of day-to-day happenings
• Proactively research local activities for the children, and ahead of travel
• Child-related housekeeping, laundry, toy sanitation, and general tidying of their spaces
• Assist with scheduling appointments and keep on top of the school schedule
• Take children to/from activities in their own vehicle
• Pack/unpack and travel prep
• Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for the children
• Actively engage the children in indoor and outdoor activities – limit screen time
• Support curiosity and imagination
• Maintain daily routines and provide structure
• Communicate and collaborate with parents
• Travel domestically and internationally when requested 

• Comfortable with work-from-home parents
• Flexibility with schedule and childcare responsibilities as needed

• Minimum 5+ years in a similar role with young children
• Ability to swim is a plus – The family has a pool
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record - insured vehicle
• Non-Smoker/Vape
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (passport ready)
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification 
• Trustline Certified 
• Legal to work in the U.S.

The family is offering $45 per hour, PTO, and a negotiable medical stipend
