Overview

A sweet young family in NYC is seeking one or two fantastic NCS's, available immediately, to help assist with their newborn triplets. The family is seeking a 4-6 month contract, but are open to candidates with fantastic multiple/preemie experience who are not available for the full term. The family is flexible on the schedule- they would be happy to have one person who prefers to do the full 20/7 schedule, or two people to switch off days/nights. They are also open to a 6 day schedule, an 18/7 schedule, or anything else that works well for the ideal candidates. 

Responsibilities

  • Prioritizing safety of the newborns at all times
  • Creating and maintaining a schedule that the family can follow as well
  • All aspects of providing attentive and nurturing newborn care, including feeding and bathing
  • Baby laundry, bottle/pump part cleaning and sanitizing, and cleaning of toys and other baby items
  • Provide recommendations for nursery items and daily routines, while respecting parents preferences
  • Maintain a calm and supportive environment
  • Maintain a log of pertinent information, including noting feedings and diaper changes, to ensure continuity of care 

Qualifications

  • Trustworthy, reliable, and an effective communicator
  • An easygoing and warm attitude
  • Team player- able to work with a co-NCS and very involved parents 
  • Hands-on and resourceful, but also knows when to give the family space
  • True love for and passion about working with babies 

Requirements

  • US work authorization
  • Up-to-date on vaccinations- flu, RSV, Covid, TDap, MMR
  • Excellent verifiable references 
  • Extensive previous experience with multiples and premature infants
