A wonderful family of three in Miami, FL is seeking a full-time chef to join their family by February, with some dates in December if available. The family does travel and would love a chef open to doing some domestic and international travel. The family loves global cuisines, especially South Asian food, and prefer gluten-free, but overall they are easygoing with preferences and enjoy high-quality ingredient-forward meals.
Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: dinners
Tuesday and Friday: off
Saturday and Sunday: lunch and dinner
Travel schedule:
When traveling, the chef is to be on call and time off will be given pre/post travel or during longer periods like summer, time off will be given in between trips (such as a week here and there)
Expected travel:
Summer:12 weeks in UK and EU. Chef can choose to stay the duration and travel around or go back to the US in between trips.
Christmas: typically every other year
Grocery shopping (organic, farmer's market, etc.) and restocking of the pantry.
$130k+ depending on experience, training, and background. There will be PTO and paid holidays.
