A wonderful family in Honolulu, HI, is seeking an experienced, warm, and reliable full-time live-out nanny to primarily care for their 2-year-old child. Mom is expecting a second child in mid-December, so the candidate should also be comfortable and capable of caring for both children. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm, with an average of 5 hours of overtime per week. This position requires travel domestically and internationally. The ideal candidate will be flexible with working hours, including occasional weekends. Relocation assistance is being offered for the right person. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

• Always ensuring the safety and well-being of the children
• All aspects of full-charge childcare, including meal plan, prep and feeding, bathing, naptime, diapering, potty training
• Child-related housekeeping, laundry, toy sanitation, and organization of the child’s spaces
• Engage the child in age-appropriate play and encourage creativity and imagination
• Take to/from activities
• Engage in outdoor activities, walks, and park exploration
• Proactively research local activities for the child, and ahead of travel
• Travel prep
• Pack/unpack
• Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for the children to thrive in
• Collaborate with the family to provide the best care for the children
• Incorporate educational play, reading, puzzles, arts, and music
• Travel with family as requested
• Occasionally, dog sitting when the family is away for a few days (generally part of the regular schedule)

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally for up to 2 months at a time
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• CPR certified preferred
• Up-to-date vaccinations – Tdap, flu
• Legal to work in the U.S.

The family is offering $35 per hour, PTO, and a medical stipend
