• This is an in-person position in Menlo Park with some coordination with the principal’s San Francisco office
• Some light wardrobe and styling including organizing seasonal transitions
• Managing appointments including sourcing beauty/hair/makeup treatments
• Social and professional coordination- overseeing dinner party logistics and liaising with vendors as needed.
• General home organization which will include working with other household staff as needed
• Errands such as handling mail and packages, prescriptions, grocery shopping, dry cleaning, etc.
• Researching and booking vendors including checking in and supervising on property
• Routine vehicle maintenance and ensuring vehicles are kept in top condition
• Assist the principal’s adult children and grandchildren when they come to visit
• Some pet care to be shared with a housekeeper (the family has a dog, lizard, and birds)
• Proven experience as a personal assistant or in a similar role in private homes
• Can-do and positive attitude with the priority to make the principals’ lives easier
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Calm personality that doesn’t require hand holding/much direction
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously
• Ability to manage time effectively, provide schedule flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and needs
• Tech savvy
• Background in hair/makeup would be a bonus
• Valid driver’s license and pristine driving record
• Maintain high level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Looking for longevity; the existing staff have been with the principal 6+ years or more
• Legally able to work in the US
