A sweet young family in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Newborn Care Specialist to assist with their baby due at the beginning of June. This schedule for this position will be 12-hour nights, for 2-3 months. The family is hoping to find a local candidate who is available for the nights schedule. 

• Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times
• Providing practical tools to enable the parents to keep baby on schedule during the day, thus setting baby up for success at night
• Provide professional guidance as it pertains to baby care while respecting the family’s personal preferences
• Encourage healthy sleep habits and follow safe sleep guidelines 
• Implementing an effective sleep and feeding routine that the parents can continue once the contract has finished
• Baby laundry, bottle/pump part cleaning and sanitizing, and cleaning of toys and other baby items
• Recommending products for baby and nursery
• Providing general support and assistance, where possible (given the nighttime schedule)

• The right candidate will have a positive and warm demeanor, glowing references, and plenty of experience 
• Flexible and easy going personality 
• Team player willing to work with other staff in the home 

• At least 3 years of verifiable experience working as a newborn care specialist
• Up to date on Flu/RSV/TDap and MMR vaccinations
• First Aid and CPR certified, or willing to certify before employment begins
• Available to commit to the entire placement
• Excellent verifiable references
• Local to Charlotte, NC
