A busy family of four living in Purchase, NY is searching for a part-time Housekeeper/ Laundress to help keep their home running smoothly. The role is 2 days per week and is 8 hours per day. The family is open to any 2 days Monday through Thursday. 

• Standard housekeeping duties, responsibility for the cleanliness and upkeep of the home, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, removing trash
• Conduct deep cleaning: scrubbing showers/toilets, cleaning window ledges, removing cobwebs, and maintaining overall hygiene standards
  
• Organize and maintain closets, pantries, storage spaces; perform seasonal clean-ups
• Laundry, ironing, and garment care as well as putting clothing as once done

• Both principals work from home and want someone who is OK working around others 
• Prior full-time private household experience
• Discreet, reliable, flexible
• Efficient and detail-oriented
• Proactive self-starter who can manage their time effectively

• Prior experience in a similar role
• Ability to care for various types of fabrics and can follow label instructions
• Strong communication skills 

• $40 per hr but flexible for the right person
