Overview

A friendly, active family based in Jackson Hole, WY, is seeking two full-time live-in housekeepers to join their fully staffed, fast-paced home. The environment is warm and casual, yet expectations are high for cleanliness, organization, communication, and discretion. Longevity is highly valued- the Estate/Executive Assistant has been with the family for 20 years. Candidates must love mountain living, be comfortable with snow, cold weather, and high altitude, and be able to move efficiently throughout a very large property. The household is casual (no uniforms), but a neat, polished appearance is expected, especially when hosting.

SCHEDULE

  • 40 hours/week, typically 9am–5pm, 5 consecutive days
  • Flexibility during hosting, events, or seasonal needs

THE PROPERTIES

Primary Residence – Jackson Hole, WY

  • 18,000 sq ft ranch-style home with two floors (daily stairs required)
  • 5 bedrooms + 5 ensuites
  • Indoor pool, gym, library, media room, billiards room
  • High-end custom finishes (marble, wood, stone, copper, granite)
  • Two laundry rooms (upstairs + downstairs)

Guest House – Live-In Quarters for housekeepers(other staff live off-site) 

  • Separate 8,500 sq ft residence
  • 4 private bedrooms, each with a private ensuite
  • Shared kitchen + living areas
  • Visiting family may stay here as well

New Condo – Teton Village

  • The family will spend weekends here during the ski season
  • Housekeepers will remain living at the main residence but will assist at the condo as needed

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Housekeeping & Property Maintenance

  • Daily cleanup and maintenance of an 18,000 sq ft home
  • Deep cleaning 
  • Proper care of high-end materials (stone, marble, copper, wood, etc.)
  • Maintain pristine order in bedroom suites, common rooms, gym, pool and media areas
  • Assist with table setting, kitchen cleanup, and service support during events

Laundry & Wardrobe Care (Significant Portion of the Job)

  • Manage extensive daily household laundry for the whole home 
  • Skilled care for high-end designer garments and specialty fabrics
  • Stain treatment, hand-washing, steaming, pressing
  • Organize and maintain wardrobes, including children’s clothing and sports gear
  • Review inventory and identify items needing replacement or repair
  • Coordinate specialty dry cleaning as needed

Organization

Creating and maintaining systems for:

  • Closets
  • Pantries
  • Medicine cabinets
  • Toy storage
  • Linen closets
  • Kitchen drawers/cabinets
  • Kids’ gear & seasonal equipment
  • Proactively track inventory and request replacements.

Pet Care

  • Daily care for two Bernedoodles
  • Feeding and 20–30 minute walks
  • Dogs stay with the housekeeper when the family travels

Family & Child Interaction

  • Two children (10 & 8) with a full-time nanny
  • Occasional help if nanny is offsite and a parent is unavailable
  • Must enjoy being around children in a family-focused home

Travel to New York (Fall Season)

  • Travel with the family to NYC during fall months
  • Continue full housekeeping duties
  • The family typically rents a 6-story townhouse; housekeepers stay on the staff floor

Requirements

  • Fluent, clear English
  • Experience in fast-paced, fully staffed UHNW homes
  • Strong laundress + wardrobe care expertise
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Physically fit and comfortable with stairs
  • Comfortable with snow, cold climates, and mountain living
  • Pet friendly
  • Driver’s license recommended (personal car highly recommended in WY)
  • Discreet, professional, calm, and able to read the room
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (W-2 position)

Salary and Benefits

  • $40–$50/hr DOE
