A lovely family of 4 in Manhattan is seeking a full-time chauffeur. The general schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 8am-8pm, Monday 7am-7pm, and Tuesday 7am-3pm for 44 hours per week guaranteed. Vehicle is provided.

• Safely drive the Employer and/or Employer’s family (2 school aged daughters) to and from school, appointments, family outings, and events.
• Safely drive the Employer’s relatives, visitors, employees to places authorized by the Employer or Estate Manager.
• Load and unload Employer’s possessions, as required.
• Ensure that the Employer’s car is kept clean, inside, and outside, at all times.
• Carry out weekly and routine maintenance and inspection on Employer’s vehicle(s) to ensure that they are always in good condition. This includes tire tread and pressure (including spare), car washes, all fluids, and visual inspection of the vehicle(s) and enters this information into a logbook. Any repairs over $500 should be pre-approved by Estate Manager.
• Consider different routes, check climate, and traffic reports to decide the best time to travel and the best route to take.
• Comply with road regulations at all times.
• Play music and/or engage in conversation as appropriate, based on the passenger(s) needs and wants.
• Keep a travel log to record locations traveled to, travel time, and work hours.
• Run errands, pick up and drop off items, help with luggage
• Escort the Employer and family on outings, walks, shopping, etc. During this time, driver will assist where needed such as opening doors, helping carry shopping bags, loading, and unloading vehicles, and walking the dogs.
• Driver should be on the lookout for potential security and safety concerns including crossing roads safely with children, being aware of the children’s general safety and ready to run after them if needed, stranger danger, vicious dogs, etc. and keeping an eye out for the general safety and security of the Employer and family.
•  Position may include some travel including delivering vehicles between states or moving cars around the New York metropolitan area.
• Perform other assignments that may be given by the Employer including but not limited to:

• Basic household repair & maintenance requests
• Clean outside patio of 2B daily (excluding winter)
• Keep basement storage rooms organized
• Accompany vendors doing work in the house, when available

• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Past experience as a professional chauffeur

• Salary is based on experience and ranges from $100k-$110k
