Overview

A lovely family in San Francisco, CA is looking for a full-time, live-in housekeeper. The position will begin in January/February of 2025. The general schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm with some flexibility for split shifts when needed, 40 hours per week guaranteed. The family has a young child, and a dog, the candidate must be comfortable around children and pets. 

Responsibilities

  • Overall housekeeping of the home, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, removing trash
  • Perform weekly and monthly tasks such as bedding, water plants, windows, change air filters
  • Organize and maintain closets, pantries, storage spaces; perform seasonal clean-ups
  • Maintain and replenish household supplies promptly
  • Track and manage household inventory
  • Manage laundry: washing, folding, ironing
  • Re-stock fridge and pantry, and help prep food and fresh produce
  • Take the dog for a walk, or let the dog out when needed
  • Arrange or replenish florals, decor around house
  • Open to accompany the family to their home in Los Angeles, or travel ahead of the family to set things up

  • Takes initiative - ability to be proactive and pitch in with tasks that need to be done

Requirements

  • Must be able to drive, with valid driver's license - car will be provided for work use
  • Experience with pets,
  • At least 5 years housekeeping experience
  • Strong communicator
  • Legal to work in the US

Salary and Benefits

$40-$50/hr
 Vacation, sick days, holidays, open to up to $500 for monthly health insurance reimbursement
