A loving and active father–daughter duo in Miami Beach is seeking a smart, creative, and flexible nanny for a 6-year-old girl. The home is energetic, fun, and respectful, with clear routines and boundaries. Their daughter is imaginative and loves music, art, and creative play. The family maintains a no-screen policy and values hands-on engagement and structure. The child splits her time between her mother’s and father’s homes. The father works from home and appreciates privacy—so the right nanny will intuitively know how to support while giving the family space. Professionalism and discretion are essential. This household runs on an all hands on deck type of mentality, they need someone who can easily blend into the current household dynamics. The family has extensive long-term staff in the home and one very friendly Goldendoodle. This is a live-in while working, unless you live close by and understand that the schedule is early mornings and later evenings.  

A strong preference will be given to candidates with a degree in psychology or early childhood education.

Schedule

• Current schedule: 1 week on/ 1 week off, but can change.
• If the child is at her father’s home, you will be required to work.
• School days typically include morning coverage from 6:30 am to 8:30 am, followed by school pickup between 3 - 4 pm and care until 8 pm (or later if the father is out, until he returns).
• Weekend hours run from the child’s wake-up to bedtime (longer days).
• Frequent domestic and international travel, particularly during holidays and summer—could be for up to a couple of months at a time.
• Live-in accommodations provided while traveling.

• School drop-off and pick-up (must drive; nanny car provided)
• Managing the child’s laundry, bedroom, and inventory/supplies
• Grocery shopping and meal preparation for the child, there may be a chef in the home but you will always be responsible for child's food
• Packing school lunches and cooking dinners (allergy aware)
• Planning and managing after-school activities and schedules
• Supporting with homework and reinforcing manners
• Organizing creative, screen-free activities
• Travel support—packing, transitions, etc.

• Strong background in traveling with families
• Confident swimmer
• Education-focused, creative, and highly organized
• Must understand and respect boundaries in a staffed home environment

• Minimum 5+ years of nanny experience with similar age group
• CPR & First Aid certified and current
• Clean driving record and active driver’s license
• Fluent in English; Portuguese a major plus

• $100,000–$130,000 DOE
• 2 weeks PTO
• 3–5 sick days
• Holidays off or holiday pay if required to work
