A private family of five (two adults and three children) in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced part-time private chef to prepare organic, healthy, and family-friendly dinners 2–3 times per week in their home. The family enjoys balanced, flavorful meals served family-style, with an emphasis on fresh,
seasonal, and locally sourced organic ingredients. They especially love Asian and Mediterranean cuisine, but also appreciate variety and creativity in their weekly menus. The schedule is 2–3 days per week: Tuesday, Thursday + Wednesday or Friday (TBD) with an arrival of 12pm and dinner served around 6/6:30pm. They are looking for someone to start immediately.
• Plan and prepare family-style dinners 2–3 times per week
• Develop balanced, creative menus incorporating both family-style and healthy/anti-inflammatory versions
• Grocery shop for fresh, organic ingredients
• Cook onsite and fully clean up before leaving
• Ensure meals are nutritious, flavorful, and beautifully presented
• Occasionally prepare special meals for holidays or family gatherings
• Proven experience as a private or family chef (required)
• Deep knowledge of healthy, organic, and whole-food cooking principles
• Reliable, organized, and professional
• Creative, adaptable, and attentive to family preferences
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Must have reliable transportation
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
