A kind family of four in the Flatiron/Union Square neighborhood of Manhattan is looking for a loving and reliable nanny to join their family and help take care of a 5-year-old-boy and 11-year-old girl in the family. The schedule will be a guaranteed minimum of 40-45 hours per week Monday through Friday, exact schedule to be determined between the family and the candidate to hire. At least two days per week will be a 7am start. The start date will be asap. 

• Full child-care of school-aged children
• Team-player to communicate with involved parents 
• Healthy cooking for children's meals
• Child laundry
• Light housekeeping and family assisting (dishes, making beds, tidying up) while the children are at school

• Reliable, consistent, safety-minded, and organized
• Creative, playful, active, and engaged disposition
• Excited to explore and be active with a school aged child (playgrounds, playdates, classes, activites, etc.)
• Willing and able to actively engage in play

Ideal but not required: 

• Driver’s license and clean driving record 
• Able to swim 

• Able to do weekday overnights for additional fee during July and August at a summer residence (separate bedroom and bathroom)
• Professional nannying experience with early elementary children
• Must be familiar with sturdy parenting/Dr. Becky style of boundary-setting
• Non- smoker
• Looking to make a long-term commitment 
• Legal to work in US

$35-40 per hour plus standard benefits
