A wonderful semi-formal family in the Bay Area, is seeking a chef to join their team. The family consists of a young couple and three children ages 3, 5 and 7 years old. This role will change as the family’s needs grow. The goal is for the Chef to holistically manage the family’s day to day and special occasion food needs by incorporating quality ingredients using primarily organic foods which are in season whenever available. Chef will educate the children on healthy eating, introduce some new food they will love and also do some cooking projects with them from time to time. This role will report to the Estate Manager. Looking for either one full-time chef or two part-time chefs. Working hours will be flexible to fit the family’s needs, but have typically been Monday through Friday 7am-3pm, 4 days per week and one day 12-9pm. Additionally, brunch or dinner at a minimum of twice monthly on a weekend day.
The family is offering a competitive salary of $150K++ based on experience and qualifications.
