Overview

Busy working parents with high-demand jobs are looking for an all-star professional nanny to help raise their children. The family has a 4 year old, an 8 month old, and another baby on the way due in May. The role is Monday through Thursday from 6:15am until 7:30pm. There is a housekeeper daily from 8am until 1pm, a dog walker, and a part-time nanny.

Responsibilities

  • Overall care for the children (meals, naps, diapering, activities, managing supplies)
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks 
  • Keep children’s areas tidy and organized
  • Help manage inventory of kids’ supplies (wipes, diapers, etc.)
  • Light child related housekeeping to maintain organized spaces
  • Traveling with the family- very limited

Qualifications

Both parents have very demanding jobs with long hours. They need a true partner

  • The family is looking for a professional nanny who loves what they do
  • Both parents work extremely depending jobs and they need someone uber dependable
  • The successful candidate will be proactive, loving, and mature.
  • The ideal candidate must have infant and toddler experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work as a team with the parents

Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to spend time in the summer in Long Island
  • Previous experience working long days
  • Driving is required for this role
  • A valid passport and current CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to renew promptly, are expected
  • Must have at least 5 years' verifiable experience working in a similar role with this age group

Salary and Benefits

  • DOE starts at $35 and is open for the right professional fit
  • OT after 40 hours
