Overview

A wonderful first-time mom living on the Upper East Side is seeking a newborn care specialist to help care for her first baby, who is one week old. This position is to start as soon as possible through the mid-to-end of December.

 

The candidate will have their own private bedroom next door to the baby.

 

Mom wants to be as involved as possible and is happy to accept advice and guidance.

 

The candidate must be kind, with a good nature, and a great sense of humor and feel that they can fit into the family to create a loving and positive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times
  • Keeping the baby's spaces stocked, organized, and tidy
  • Assisting with creating and maintaining an effective sleep and feeding schedule
  • Sleep conditioning and training 
  • Traveling with the family as needed 
  • Providing general support and assistance- guiding and teaching a first time mom
  • Ensure the baby's clothing is washed and ironed

Qualifications

  • Warm, kind, and nurturing
  • Willing to take direction 
  • Professional and able to read the room
  • Ability to go-with-the-flow while providing structure and consistency 
  • Clean and organized  

Requirements

  • US passport, Green Card or EAC 
  • COVID vaccinated, and up to date on Flu/RSV/Tdap and MMR vaccinations
  • Passport ready and willing to travel
  • Up to date CPR/First Aid certified
  • Mom is spontaneous and fun and would like the candidate to be like-minded
  • This is a strictly gluten-free household. 
  • Must have at least 7-years of experience 
  • Fluent English speaking

Salary and Benefits

  • From $500 per day depending on experience
