Overview

A busy family in Pacific Palisades, CA is looking for an experienced live-in nanny to care for their three young children, ages 2-years old, 5-years old, and 6-years old. The family is looking for a nanny who can speak Tagalog, Japanese, or Vietnamese. The general schedule will be Wednesday through Sunday, 6:45am-7:45pm. The family travels throughout the year, and the nanny will accompany them for 2-4 weeks at a time. This position is live-in, with accommodations in the guest house on the property, and accommodations provided when traveling. The family is giving priority to local candidates at this time, but is open to relocating for the right fit. West Coast based is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Full-time care for the 3 children. The 2 year old is home all day, the older children attend school
  • Creating activities, playtime, engaging with the children, school pick-ups, etc
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children, and occasionally the family when needed
  • Keep children’s areas tidy and organized
  • Help manage inventory of kids’ supplies (wipes, diapers, etc.)
  • Light child related household support
  • Driving the children
  • Traveling with the family

Qualifications

  • Experienced
  • Observant, proactive and energetic
  • Thick skin but has a light touch
  • Flexible
  • Loves traveling
  • Can navgate parents who are often home

Requirements

  • Must speak Tagalog, Japanese, or Vietnamese
  • Travel-ready with valid Passport
  • Must drive, a car can be provided if needed
  • Trustline Certified or willing to certify
  • Legal to work in the US

Salary and Benefits

  • $35-$40/hr based on experience, plus OT
  • Vacation, sick days, and open to a monthly health insurance reimbursement
