Overview

A lovely family in Santa Monica, CA is looking for a warm, reliable, and experienced nanny to care for their two young children, starting as soon as possible. The family is planning a move out of California in the next 6-12 months, so this position will be for that duration, and they ask for flexibility and commitment for the term. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:15am-5:30pm, with some flexibility for date nights, work events, and longer hours when traveling. The family travels to Australia often, and ideally would love to find someone open for 4-8 weeks in Australia at a time! This position is live-out when in Santa Monica, and the family will provide accommodations when traveling. They are currently only considering local candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Full-time care for the 14-month-old toddler (meals, naps, diapering, activities, managing supplies)
  • Part-time care for the 3-year-old preschooler (school pick-up at 2:45pm, afternoon activities, dinner prep)
  • Care for both children during school holidays
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for both children
  • Keep children’s areas tidy and organized
  • Help manage inventory of kids’ supplies (wipes, diapers, etc.)
  • Light household support (running dishwasher, emptying diaper bins/trash)
  • Spanish-speaking a plus
  • Traveling with the family

Requirements

  • Travel-ready with valid Passport
  • Must drive & have reliable transport
  • Trustline Certified or willing to certify

Salary and Benefits

  • $35-$45/hr based on experience
