A family in Washington, DC is seeking a live-in or live-out nanny/governess primarily for their 2 eldest children. They have 3 children ages 7, 4.5, and 2-years-old. They have a newborn just born in March, but the the focus for this role is on the eldest 2 children and the 2-year-old at times and more so when she begins school and activities. The role is ideally live-in (private bedroom and bathroom located in the basement of their 4 story home) but they are also open to live-out. The schedule is ideally Tuesday through Saturday but they are open to Monday through Friday as well. For weekdays, the schedule would be: 7am-8am in the mornings and then 2pm-9pm. They are also open to 7am-11am and 4pm-8pm. For the possible weekend day, the schedule would be 9am-5pm. The priority for this role is supporting the eldest children's cognitive development and ensuring they are constantly stimulated intellectually–reading, writing, music, arts, etc. A candidate excited about helping children in their care develop to their full potential is desired for this role. The youngest child is in a half-day care program outside of the home from 9am-1pm; the eldest 2 children are in school 8am-3pm and have enrichment/tutoring after school. There are no pets in the home.
