Overview

A lovely family visiting Los Angeles is looking for a local nanny to join them from end of November/beginning of December through end of January at their home in Beverly Hills. They have one baby who will be 8-months-old at the start and one two-year-old. The schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, 40-50 hours per week, with 3 days 9am-6pm and 2 days 12-9pm with flexibility for some later evenings, weekend work, and travel (possibly one ski trip). The family’s current nanny will be coming with them for the first week and the ideal candidate would be able to overlap with her November 25 or 26.

Responsibilities

• Full-childcare including making/washing/sanitizing bottles, cooking for both children, maintaining the children’s current sleeping routines and schedules, and providing an overall safe, warm, and developmentally appropriate environment.
• Light housekeeping related to the children including child laundry, keeping common areas tidy and organized, and restocking child items such as diapers and wipes

Qualifications

• Warm and nurturing personality
• Punctual and reliable
• Team player who is comfortable working with involved parents who will be in and out of the home
• Willing and able to maintain the children’s current schedule

Requirements

• Currently already local in Los Angeles and within commuting distance from Beverly Hills
• Available for the duration, December 1- end of January 
• Driver’s license and clean driving record
• Comfortable with a large friendly golden retriever in the home
• Legal to work in the US
• Trustline certified, or willing to certify before start date

Salary and Benefits

$30-40 per hour, depending on experience
