Overview

A busy CEO is in search of a top-notch house manager to join her team and help her Hilton Head, SC, home run smoothly. The role can be live-in or live-out. If you live in, there is a separate apartment available on the family's property. The family has 2 children, a full-time nanny, and a full-time housekeeper. They are looking for someone quick, lively, and resourceful to join this great team. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate daily household operations, including scheduling vendors, deliveries, and repairs.
  • Maintain and adhere to a household budget
  • Establish systems and schedules for household maintenance and vendors, documenting and creating a household manual for future reference 
  • Maintain household organization and inventory of supplies (groceries, packages, receipts & returns)
  • Manage family calendar and appointments as needed
  • Assist with school pick-up and after-school routines if the nanny is out
  • Ensure the home is tidy and organized
  • Coordinate and manage personal calendars, including meetings, events, and appointments.
  • Partner with business EA on coordination of work schedules/travel, and personal meetings/events/appointments/travel
  • Manage house tasks, including management of services, errands, and purchases.
  • Manage personal information trackers, including medical records, travel history, travel memberships, etc.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent attention to detail, who can anticipate needs and maintain a calm, solutions-oriented presence in the household.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in a similar role 
  • Excellent references from previous private families
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with apps, calendars, and smart home systems

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel domestically, sometimes at a moment’s notice
  • Flexibility with the schedule
  • Must be legal to work in the U.S.

Salary and Benefits

  • $100-$140k annually, PTO, and medical benefits
