Overview

Growing family of three living in Plano, Texas is searching for a second ROTA nanny to join their home and care for their 3-month-old little girl.  The schedule for this role will be a full-time, rotational schedule of 1 week on/1 week off.  The role is  24/7 coverage while on duty with typical working hours from 7am-7pm with some overnight coverage during sleep regressions. This is best suited for local candidates or those willing to relocate. The family is not open to those wanting to fly in/out.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include all child-related household tasks, including but not limited to;

  • Child meal prep, tidying general areas, organizing children’s areas, errands, daily-routines, coordinating social activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.
  • All aspects of infant care, including feeding, nap schedules, and sleep training.
  • Willingness to help around the house including helping with the dog, taking out trash, tidying the kitchen and unloading the dishwasher.
  • Cleaning and vacuuming out strollers and car seats during nap-times. 
  • Stocking changing stations and diaper bags
  • Packing for trips
  • Being full-on during sleep training and when mom is traveling for work. 
  • Responsible to be up to date and familiar  with baby gear like sanitizers, bottle warmers, formula prep, and car seats/ strollers is needed.
  • Familiarity with food transitions
  • The role requires physical activity including carrying luggage, carrying strollers, and ability to navigate a range of different environments.

Qualifications

  • A candidate with high emotional intelligence and great communication skills will thrive in this wonderful home
  • The family is looking for someone smart and adaptable who can do well in all types of environments. 
  • A background in education or teaching is a major plus.
  • Experience traveling with families in similar situations is a major plus
  • Past ROTA experience 
  • Looking to make a long-term commitment 
  • Pitch-in attitude with no EGO

Requirements

  • 5 years of professional childcare experience
  • Comfortable preparing basic meals for children
  • Travel experience - Global Entry candidates a plus - Candidate will be required to apply for Global Entry
  • Pet friendly-one hypoallergenic small dog under 10lbs.
  • Able to swim and care for children in water
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid passport
  • COVID vaccinated

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary: DOE starts at $125k but flexible for the right person. The family will provide a health insurance stipend and is open relocation assistance for the right candidate.
