Overview

A family of four in Menlo Park are seeking a full-time, live-out private chef/house manager to handle their properties and culinary needs. The schedule is Monday through Friday. The position is only seeking candidates who are local to the Bay area.  The role is culinary focused with some house management tasks.  The family is looking for someone with a variety of cuisines in their portfolio but would love someone who specializes in Asian cuisine.  The ability to create with a nutritional and healthy spin is required.   This position is hiring immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage staff
  • Manage maintenance and vendors.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property, identifying maintenance issues and coordinating repairs.
  • Responsible for maintaining all household systems, such as security, maintenance schedules, and household inventory.
  • Ensure all vehicles are in top condition (fuel, service, cleaning), and manage schedules for these tasks.
  • Organize household shopping, including pantry restocking, fridge replenishing, and managing shopping lists for both homes.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, purchasing, and preparing meals in advance to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare healthy meals, the family loves Asian and Indian based cuisines with a healthy twist.
