A kind family in Lincoln Square is seeking a full-time, child-friendly live-in housekeeper for their 4-bedroom home starting mid-September, or sooner if preferred. The position is mostly housekeeping, however, the children, ages 13 and 11, will need transportation to activities, sports practices, and games when they are in the home (currently every other weekend and one week day). The candidate may live-in seven days a week if preferred.

The current schedule is Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday, with Tuesdays and Thursdays off. Morning start time is flexible and there will be downtime when the children are not in the home or are at school. Monday and Wednesday nights will usually end between 8-830pm, with the other nights ending earlier. The schedule will change to giving the candidate two consecutive days off, flexibility is needed while the family's schedule shifts over the next couple of months.  

• Housekeeping, deep cleaning, and general interior care
• Laundering of clothes and linens
• Procuring and managing inventory of household supplies
• Light pet care of one small, friendly dog 
• Very basic food prep (e.g. washing and cutting fruit and veggies for the children, making snacks for the children to have during activities, etc.)
• Every other weekend and Wednesdays: Driving one or both children to their activities and sports. Typically this will be tag-teaming with mom because both children have different schedules. The children entertain themselves and require minimal care outside of transportation and some cooking. 

• A total pro who is considerate, meticulous, and trustworthy 
• Someone reliable, easy to work with, and proactive. The family is currently going through a major transition and will be looking to this person for stability 
• Extremely detail oriented
• The ideal candidate is open to traveling with the family such as winter break in the Caribbean but not required 
• Japanese speaker would be a bonus but not required 

• Driver's license, clean driving record, and comfortable driving in and out of the city. The majority of the driving will be outside of Manhattan, but candidates must be comfortable getting in and out of the city

$35-45 per hour plus benefits
