Overview

A busy executive in the Castro neighborhood of San Francisco is seeking two housekeepers to work approximately one week a month for the next year, starting the first week of September. The first week of September is set; however, in other months, the dates may be unknown until a week or two before. There will be two different shifts: 9 am- 3 pm and 3 pm-9 pm. 

Responsibilities

  • All aspects of housekeeping and deep cleaning with a focus on the primary bedroom, shared living areas, and outdoor spaces. The other three bedrooms in the property will be cleaned by a different person.
  • Daily tidying and organization- maintain current organizational systems and establish new ones as needed. 
  • Packing and unpacking the principal for travel, if needed 
  • Working together with a chef and the principal's house manager 
  • Light service for the principal, which includes tea and coffee service as well as setting tables and serving lunch and dinner. The principal is very relaxed with service, and no formal silver service will be necessary. 

Qualifications

  • Experience and training in cleaning high-end fixtures, furniture, and clothing. The principal's house manager will provide some initial training 
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and know how to maneuver around a UHNW home
  • Dedicated, loyal, and trustworthy
  • Confident working independently

Requirements

  • Must have several years of experience in high-net-worth private residences
  • Experience with dinner parties, helping to serve, and being professional with guests 
  • US work authorization 
  • Commuting distance/already local to San Francisco. Housing is not provided 

Salary and Benefits

Due to the unique nature of the schedule and flexibility needed, pay is highly competitive, $60+ per hour
