A lovely family in Miami is seeking an exceptional live-in nanny for their one-year-old. The schedule will be Thursday through Monday, 7:30am-8pm, however, the nanny will be on-call overnight though care is rarely needed as the child sleeps through the night. The nanny will have a private bedroom and bathroom. The family is open to FL or NY candidates. 

The family spends approximately 35% of the year in New York (mostly weekends throughout the year and then during summer) and travels internationally about three times per year up to 3 weeks at a time. This kind and worldly family is looking for a nanny to join their family long-term and be a meaningful part of their child's life. As the child grows, the position will become more nanny/family assistant over time. 

• Full child care: Providing a warm and loving environment, care and engagement of the child including enrichment in age-appropriate activities that foster physical, social, and emotional growth including designing a schedule of activities (inside and outside the home) that foster creativity and help the child progress in development.
• Transportation to activities, play dates, and outings 
• Coordinating schedules for naps, meals, activities, and travel
• Helping with the child’s laundry and with light child meal preparation
• Nursery duties including: managing the tidiness and organization of the child's space and restocking baby items such as diapers and wipes
• Family assistant tasks including: running errands (returns, dry cleaning, etc), light pet care (walking friendly dog), organizing, and helping with household projects 

• Warm and nurturing personality
• Hard working and a self-starter, willing to take on family assistant tasks as the child grows and eventually starts school 
• Team player with excellent communication who is happy to partner and collaborate with a stay at home mom 
• Excited to work with the toddler age, know ages and stages and what developmental milestones are coming next
• A second language would be nice to have but not required

• Confident swimming skills and comfortable supervising children in the water 
• Travel ready: experienced traveling with families and current passport/able to travel internationally 
• Driver’s license and clean driving record (nanny car provided if needed)
• Comfortable working in a home with a friendly dog 
• Tech savvy (baby connect, calendar, etc.)
• Legal to work in the US

The family is offering an hourly rate that comes to $130-140k annually for the 5 day shift per week 

2 weeks paid time off, sick days, and paid federal holidays
