A warm, kind family in Los Angeles, CA (Venice), is seeking a full-time chef, starting asap. The schedule will be 8 am-5 pm Monday through Friday. The expectation is that the candidate will provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 2 adults (a new baby is due early 2026).

• The family avoids gluten, dair,y and refined sugars, so candidates should be able to tailor meals and snacks accordingly
• Other responsibilities will include keeping the fridge, freezer, and produce cupboards tidy and up to date, keeping track of inventory, grocery shopping, cleaning up the kitchen at the end of each day, and generally keeping everything in order.
• Breakfast items can be set aside/ left in the fridge, such as protein/ energy balls, muffins, overnight oats, zucchini bread etc
• Lunch can also be plated and left in the fridge, such as salads and soups, salmon fillets etc. - anything that’s healthy, keeps well, and that’s grab-and-go.
• Dinner should be plated but does not require formal serving - if the family entertains, there is a full-time housekeeper to assist with this.

• 5-8+ years' verifiable experience working in a similar role
• The ideal candidate will approach their work with calm, warmth, passion, and organization

• US passport, Green Card or EAC 
• COVID vaccinated, and up to date on Flu/RSV/Tdap and MMR vaccinations (since there will be a newborn in the home in early 2026)
• Passport ready and willing to travel domestically and internationally, if it’s ever required
• Must have a clean driving record and a valid driving license

• $110-$150k + full benefits and healthcare stipend
