A family in Armonk, NY is seeking a full-time, wonderful career nanny for their 4-year-old son. They are expecting a baby in December but they will have a Newborn Care Specialist for the first few months. Additionally, the child is in school Monday through Friday in the mornings and then has afternoon appointments the nanny will take him to/from. When the child is in school the care will mainly focus on the baby next year. The schedule is Monday through Friday 8am-4pm. Both parents work from home and are hands-on and can help with the children as well (I.E., if the nanny needs to take the 4-year-old out and it's more helpful to leave the baby at home with the parents). The role starts as soon as possible.

• Driving the 4-year-old to/from Pre-K and appointments weekly (there will be a car available for the nanny to use while working). The school and appointments are all very close, less than 15-20 miles from the home
• Children's laundry
• Tidying up the children's toys
• Tidying up the living room, common spaces, kitchen, etc., as able and needed throughout the day (note: they have a housekeeper, so this role doesn't involve deep cleaning)
• It would be appreciated if the nanny could empty the dishwasher when able (I.E., children are down for a nap or in school)
• There may be some meal/snack prep for the children
• There is 1 chihuahua/terrier mix dog in the home and the family would appreciate if the nanny would be open to walking him daily
• Swimming with the toddler; the family has a pool on property so someone enthusiastic about swimming is needed for this role

• The ideal nanny would like staying home and overseeing activities at the home; whether it be arts and crafts, water table, playing on the swing set, or playing in the basement full of toys. They'd rather the nanny not go out daily to museums and different places, but the local park or local library is fine

• Former roles in which the nanny has been employed for 2-3 years at a time
• They are not so much looking for a specific degree, but more so experience as a career nanny and a candidate who takes ownership in being a nanny and is vigilant of the children in their care
• Licensed driver with a clean driving record
• Willing to get the TDap vaccine for the baby on the way, as well as yearly flu and COVID vaccines

• $35-40/hour
• 2 weeks vacation
• Major holidays off
• No healthcare stipend is offered for this role
