A private family is seeking an exceptional Full-Time Career Nanny to join their household and provide attentive, engaging care for their young child.

The family is looking for a seasoned professional who genuinely loves being a nanny and brings warmth, energy, patience, and intention to each day. The ideal candidate is highly experienced with toddlers and young children and understands how to balance nurturing care with structure, consistent boundaries, independence, and developmentally appropriate expectations.

This is a family that values active engagement. They are looking for someone who enjoys getting down on the floor to play, spending time outdoors, exploring new places, planning thoughtful activities, and creating days that are both fun and developmentally enriching.

A strong partnership with the parents is equally important. The successful candidate will be socially intuitive and comfortable working collaboratively alongside an engaged parent, understanding when to take the lead and when to step back. The family values a warm, comfortable relationship with their nanny while maintaining healthy professional boundaries.

The position is primarily childcare-focused, though the nanny should be naturally proactive and willing to assist with light child-related and household tasks as time allows. The family maintains an organized, active home and appreciates someone who notices what needs to be done and contributes to keeping the child's environment running smoothly.

The general schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 7:00 AM–5:00 PM or 8:00 AM–6:00 PM. The family also travels throughout the year, both domestically and internationally. Candidates must genuinely enjoy travel and be comfortable transitioning between locations while maintaining consistency and routine for the child.

• Provide attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care for a young child.
• Create engaging days incorporating educational activities, imaginative play, reading, outdoor time, physical activity, outings, and age-appropriate experiences.
• Remain fully present and actively engaged with the child throughout the workday, with minimal personal phone use while working.
• Support the child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through thoughtful, age-appropriate engagement.
• Encourage independence, confidence, curiosity, and emotional regulation.
• Navigate tantrums, transitions, and challenging developmental moments with patience, consistency, and calm boundaries.
• Maintain consistent routines, expectations, and structure throughout the child's day.
• Incorporate Montessori-inspired and respectful parenting principles in alignment with the family's approach.
• Prepare healthy, age-appropriate meals and snacks for the child.
• Accompany the child to classes, activities, playdates, and outings.
• Swim confidently with the child and maintain exceptional awareness of water safety.
• Keep the child's spaces, toys, clothing, belongings, and supplies tidy and organized.
• Assist with light household tasks as time allows, including unloading the dishwasher, tidying after meals and activities, and maintaining orderly shared spaces.
• Work collaboratively and respectfully with the parents and other household staff.
• Travel extensively with the family and maintain the child's routines, organization, activities, and structure while away from home.
• Remain adaptable to changing environments and schedules during periods of travel.

• 10+ years of professional career nanny experience strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience working as a live-in nanny within private or high-net-worth households strongly preferred.
• Significant experience caring for toddlers and young children through multiple developmental stages.
• Extensive professional travel experience with private families, including both domestic and international travel.
• Strong understanding of toddler development, emotional regulation, age-appropriate boundaries, and developmental milestones.
• Familiarity with Montessori-inspired learning, respectful parenting, or similar child-development philosophies.
• Warm, nurturing, playful, and genuinely enthusiastic about engaging with children.
• Calm, patient, grounded, and confident maintaining consistent boundaries.
• Active and energetic, with a genuine interest in outdoor activities and an active lifestyle.
• Naturally proactive, organized, and comfortable contributing to the smooth operation of the child's environment.
• Highly adaptable and comfortable transitioning between schedules and environments.
• Socially intuitive and able to work collaboratively with engaged parents and household staff.
• Highly discreet and professional with a strong understanding of privacy and boundaries within private households.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

• Valid passport and ability to travel domestically and internationally for extended periods throughout the year.
• Strong, confident swimmer with excellent water-safety awareness and complete comfort swimming with a young child.

• Approximately $130,000 - 140,000 annual compensation, with flexibility for an exceptional candidate.
• $500/month healthcare stipend.
