A private and prominent family with properties on Catalina Island, CA, is seeking a single caretaker or a domestic couple to manage and maintain multiple properties. The family comes to the island once a week for business, and the candidate(s) must be able to keep the homes hotel-ready. There is a very detailed job description that will be shared with candidates who are qualified for the role. You must be open to living in a remote area, be able to lift 50 pounds, and have experience working with similar clientele. Good-hearted people with a sense of humor will do best with this team and family!
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE LIST OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Stocking and maintaining properties per existing standards, including property and grounds maintenance.
Supervising landscape crew
Oversight of and coordination with vendors
Ensuring security and other household systems are functional
Performing or coordinating repairs
Transportation coordination and fleet management
Loading and unloading of luggage, coolers, and other cargo
Event preparations
Maintain housekeeping calendar and ensure all tasks are performed as scheduled
Provide concierge/personal assistance support when needed for tasks such as pet care, packing, and meal prep.
Work closely with the family Chef to replenish grocery items and prepare meals
General maintenance rand epair experience preferred
Highest level of confidentiality and trustworthiness

service providers
Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks under pressure, meet deadlines, and have
robust follow-up skills

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
High degree of motivation– self-starter
Advanced property management experience required
