A busy family of five living in Lake View, IL is searching for a rock-star nanny/house manager for their 3 young children and home. The role can be live-out or live-in. There is a separate apartment provided for the candidate if they would like to be live-in. The role is Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm. Anything over 40 hours per week will be OT. 

Qualified candidates will be given a list of job responsibilities which include but are not limited to

• Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times
• Creating an engaging and fun environment
• Promoting independent play
• Preparing snacks and meals 
• Child-related laundry and tidying when needed
• Transporting the children to and from school and any other play-dates and activities 
• In addition to childcare responsibilities, nanny’s household duties shall include driving tasks and errands, loading and unloading dishwasher, cleaning after meals, light housekeeping as time permits, general tidying up, interaction with repair people and the like who may come to the home, and similar activities
• The family has a cleaning person to perform weekly house cleaning
• Nanny will assist parents with household-upkeep (opening packages and putting the contents away, etc.) as time permits.

• Experience transporting young children 
• Safe, fun, proactive, and highly reliable
• competent and able to multitask without micromanagement 

• Candidate must hold a valid and clean drivers license 
• Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally 
• Ability to stay late when needed and sleep over occasionally 
• Ability work legally in the US

• DOE $35-$40++ per hour
• Private apartment available (must be willing to get renters insurance)
