A loving and active father–daughter duo in Miami Beach is seeking a smart, creative, and flexible nanny for a 6-year-old girl. The home is energetic, fun, and respectful, with clear routines and boundaries. Their daughter is imaginative and loves music, art, and creative play. The family maintains a no-screen policy and values hands-on engagement and structure.
The child splits her time between her mother’s and father’s homes. The father works from home and values privacy—so the right nanny will intuitively know how to support while giving the family space. Professionalism and discretion are essential. The household also includes long-term staff and one very friendly Goldendoodle.
A strong preference will be given to candidates with a degree in psychology or early childhood education. Portuguese-speaking candidates are a plus. Relocation is offered for exceptional candidates.
Start Date: September
Schedule:
The child follows a 2-2-3 custody schedule:
Monday & Tuesday – With Dad
Wednesday & Thursday – With Mom
Friday–Sunday – Alternates weekly between Mom and Dad
For this position, the nanny’s responsibilities align with Dad’s custody time. This includes:
Mondays & Tuesdays: Afternoon school pickup, care through the evening, and overnight coverage if Dad is out.
Wednesday mornings: School drop-off following Tuesday night with Dad.
Alternating Weekends (Friday–Monday): School pickup Friday afternoon, care through the weekend, and drop-off at school Monday morning.
Typical Hours:
School Days: 6:30–8:30 AM for morning routine and school drop-off; 3:00/4:00–8:00 PM (later if Dad is out) for pickup, activities, dinner, and bedtime.
Alternating Weekends: Full days from wake-up through bedtime.
If the child is at her father’s home, the nanny will be required to work.
Additional Scheduling Notes:
The family may transition to a true ROTA schedule: Monday afternoon through the following Monday morning, with the alternating week off while the child is with her mother.
Flexibility is required—the nanny may occasionally be asked to work during “off” days with notice.
Frequent domestic and international travel, particularly during holidays and summer, sometimes for extended periods (a few weeks to a couple of months).
This is a full-time position that often involves part-time hours. The family is paying for flexibility with scheduling and travel availability.
