Overview

A warm and kind family based in Bel Air (relocating to the Palisades this winter) is seeking a reliable and engaging weekend nanny with flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally. The family has three kind and well-behaved children—ages 11, 8, and 3—and values longevity, trustworthiness, and a calm, capable presence. This is a hands-on household where both parents are actively involved and appreciate a nanny who can confidently partner with them and their weekday nanny. The home is fully staffed and includes three small, friendly dogs.

Schedule

  • Thursday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturday: 6:30 AM – 7:30/8:00 PM (later if parents are out)
  • Sunday: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Live-in for weekend hours is available (private room + bath provided)

Family is guaranteeing 32 hours

Start Date: Late August 


Responsibilities

  • Provide full care for children (11, 8, and 3)
  • Plan and lead age-appropriate weekend activities
  • Travel with family (domestic & international)
  • Prepare healthy kids’ meals and snacks
  • Light household duties related to children (dishes, laundry while traveling, tidying toys)
  • Run occasional errands or assist with local drop-offs
  • Maintain a screen-free, engaged presence with the kids
  • Create a warm, calm, and supportive environment

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with school-aged and toddler-aged children
  • Independent, trustworthy, and emotionally intelligent
  • Calm, warm, playful, and grounded demeanor
  • Comfortable working in a staffed home with extended family present
  • Montessori background or child-led experience a plus
  • Mandarin-speaking is a bonus
  • Pet-friendly

Requirements

  • Valid U.S. work authorization
  • Passport ready and able to travel
  • Strong driver (Larger nanny car provided)
  • Confident swimmer
  • CPR & First Aid certified and current
  • Fully vaccinated (minimum two COVID shots or verifiable natural immunity)
  • Non-smoker and cannot live with someone who smokes due to one of the children’s health(Dr. recommended)

Salary and Benefits

  • $40–$45/hr DOE
  • 2 weeks PTO
  • 3 sick days
  • OT & holiday pay
  • Possible health stipend
