Overview

A loving family in Tribeca is seeking a full-time housekeeper to join their home. The schedule would be a typical Monday through Friday 8am-4pm. The family is seeking a local candidate, not looking to relocate anyone at this time. This is an immediate hire.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily housekeeping duties and general home organization
  • Execute routine and seasonal deep cleaning projects
  • Manage laundry: washing, ironing, handwashing delicates, and coordinating dry cleaning
  • Care for fine furnishings, surfaces, art, silver, china, and crystal using appropriate methods
  • Help maintain plant and floral care throughout the home
  • Organize closets, cabinets, and storage areas
  • Support with dinner parties, including light service assistance
  • Monitor the home for necessary repairs and report accordingly
  • Help stock household and cleaning supplies and manage inventory of personal care items. PA handles ordering. 
  • Assist with packing, unpacking, and travel prep as needed
  • Run local errands for the principals and team as needed
  • Communicate with household staff and vendors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Requirements

  • Legal to work in the US
  • Fully vaccinated
  • Prior experience as a private high-end housekeeper 5 years+
  • Live locally or commutable distance to NYC
  • Fluent in English
  • Spanish speaking is a plus!
  • Tech savvy
  • Strong work ethic
  • Attention to detail
  • Proactive
  • Comfortable working with young children in the home
  • High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism

Salary and Benefits

The family is offering $45/hr. Benefits to include:
