Overview

A caring family in Naperville, IL is looking for a full-time professional nanny for their 3 children, ages 5, 4, and 1 years old.  This is a 35 + hour per week role with general hours being Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8am-5pm and Fridays from 8am-4pm.  The parents both work from home and are involved with the children. The family also has 2 small dogs and will be adding a large, highly trained dog to the family in March. The ideal candidate is comfortable, confident, and not timid around dogs. This is a fully child-focused role, with the option for more hours in the future. The family is open to helping a candidate relocate, but is ideally looking for someone already local.

Responsibilities

  • Full childcare for children; oldest child attends school in the mornings
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities with an educational focus
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children
  • Encourage and model positive behaviors for household chores, cleaning up toys, putting dishes away, etc.
  • Maintain the daily routine and structure, while also allowing the children to play and enjoy their days

Qualifications

  • Educational background
  • Energetic, active, and can-do attitude
  • Comfortable around a pool and confident around dogs, including a large (60-65 lb.) well-trained dog
  • Experience with multiple children under 5 years of age

Requirements

  • Must have at least 5 years of full-time nannying experience
  • Great references
  • Must be fully vaccinated, up to date on all vaccines, and willing to receive annual flu and COVID boosters (the family has an immunocompromised child)
  • Legal to work in the US

Salary and Benefits

  • $30-$40/Hr based on experience
  • Standard benefits, including paid sick days, PTO, and paid major holidays
