Overview

Loving first-time parents based in Singapore are seeking a professional, experienced nanny to care for their newborn son, due in July 2025. This is a sole-charge position, ideal for a confident, well-trained nanny, familiar with western-style parenting. The ideal candidate would be Norland trained, or have a similar qualification and experienced in early years care.

 

The family are busy professionals looking for a nurturing and organised individual who can take full charge of nursery duties and contribute positively to the child’s early development. While the family resides primarily in Singapore, they also spend 1–2 months (typically November to January) in their home in Australia each year.

 

This is a full-time, live-in position. The nanny candidate will be provided with a private bedroom and bathroom in both Singapore and Australia.

The schedule is to be determined but could be either Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, 7am–7pm with a 1–2 hour break.

 

There will be additional household staff, including a driver. This position is due to start in August, with a possible handover with the NCS.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times
  • Offer advice and guidance to the parents
  • Guide the parents when weaning and prepare healthy nutritious meals
  • Maintaining and adjusting sleep and feeding routines/schedules as the baby grows
  • Help clean and sterilize bottles when used
  • Maintain a clean and tidy nursery
  • Travel with the family, when required

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working s a travel nanny would be preferred
  • Annual CPD budget of £170
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and an effective communicator
  • Minimum of 5 years experience

  • Committed to high standards of childcare and safety
  • Candidate must be passport ready
  • The ideal candidate will be mature and flexible, and adores what they do
  • Able to read a room and know when to step back so they can have family time
  • Up to date on vaccinations

Salary and Benefits

  • Visa will be provided
  • Up to 28 days of annual leave
  • £65,000+ depending on experience
